Unlike traditional documentary style, your video will be edited for dramatic effect and mood, much like you would see in the filmmaking industry. Becoming very popular, this style is a more contemporary and artistic approach to wedding videos. The final product is a 20-25 minute recap of your wedding day set to a soundtrack of music picked out by the couple, making each edit unique.

We decided late in the game that we wanted a videographer to capture our wedding day. Sara with McCormick Media was very responsive and accommodating to our last minute request (just a few months out) and I'm SO happy she was! She was quiet and seemed to blend in with the whole celebration, meanwhile capturing all of these great moments. Because of our location, our property was a drone no fly zone, which bummed us out, BUT they still managed to get some footage of the area nearby. We have already watched our short film multiple times and will be watching it every year (at least) on our anniversary. It was such a special video to be able to share with family and friends who could not make it to the wedding. Definitely worth the cost!

Just hire her already! I cannot overstate how much I value the beautiful treasure of a film (and all the extra footage) that Sara created for us. If you have to go with either a photographer or a videographer- go with Sara for a videographer. Nothing compares to actually being able to hear your partner's voice say their vows- for all of eternity- or to see an elderly relative get a twinkle in their eye- or to see all the nuances of emotion that run through such an important day. This is a day you never want to forget- and video recaptures SO much more of the actual feeling of being there than still pictures do. As a note, Sara and her second recording-partner somehow managed to capture pretty much every second of the wedding, and yet, I feel like I only saw her for less than five minutes all day- she is so unobtrusive and discreet! I thoroughly recommend her, 100%!

Do yourself a favor and book this videographer. I almost didn't get a videographer so we could save some money, but at the end of the day I didn't want to regret not having a video. But I also did not want to pay a ton of money for a 5 minute highlight video. My video is 25 minutes long and it is absolutely amazing. You don't just get a highlight of your wedding, you get the entire day. The day goes by so fast and you're going to forget or not see so much, so it's awesome to be able to look back at everything. Sara and her 2nd shooter were awesome, I don't know how they do it but most of the time I had no clue they were there. To say they are a fly on the wall is an understatement, we never felt like we were being taped. I am SO happy I decided to do a wedding video and even happier that I chose McCormick Media.
